Privacy policy
Last updated October 26, 2026
Kept Weekly is run by Baltar LLC, a Wyoming (USA) company (“we”, “us”). This policy covers this website, keptweekly.com, and the Kept Weekly app. It says what we collect, why, and how to have it deleted. Questions go to hello@keptweekly.com.
The short version
- On this website we collect your email (and your trade, if you pick one) when you join the list, and a note of which buttons and links get clicked.
- In the app we read your field-service data, read-only, only to calculate your numbers and send your Monday email.
- We never sell data or use it for ads. When you disconnect the app, the data we copied is deleted straight away.
This website
When you join the list
We store:
- your email address, and your trade if you choose one;
- which form you used and the page it was on;
- the first page of your visit, the site that sent you there and any campaign tags in that link, and how many pages you had viewed;
- your country, worked out from your connection (we don't store your IP address), and your browser's user-agent string and language setting.
We use it to email you when Kept Weekly opens, plus the occasional news from Kept Weekly, and to see which pages and sources bring people who sign up. You can unsubscribe from any email we send, or email us and we'll take you off the list.
To send those visit details with a sign-up, your browser keeps the first page of your visit, its referrer, campaign tags and a page count in session storage, for this tab only. It's cleared when you close the tab. We don't set cookies of our own.
Clicks
When you click a “Join the list” button, the email link or a link to another site, the page sends us a short note: which one, where it was on the page, the page you were on, the site that sent you to it, your country, and your browser's user-agent string and language. It holds no email or IP address. We use it to see which parts of the page help people.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies, and Google handles that data under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Sign-up details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Click notes hold no email or IP address; we keep them while they help us improve the site.
The Kept Weekly app
What we collect
- From your field-service software, after an admin connects Kept Weekly: clients (names), properties (address and map coordinates), jobs, visits, line items (prices and costs), timesheets, expenses, team members' names, and products and services. We read; we never write to your software.
- From you: your business email for the Monday email, and the costs and targets you enter in Settings.
- Usage events: connecting, saving settings, and whether the Monday email was sent, opened and clicked, to improve the product.
- Billing: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store card numbers.
What we do with it
Only calculate and show your job profit and send your weekly email. We don't sell data, don't use it for ads, and don't share one customer's data with another. If we ever add industry comparisons, they will be opt-in and use only anonymized totals from groups large enough that no business can be identified.
How long we keep it
While Kept Weekly is connected. When you disconnect (in Kept Weekly or in your field-service software), we delete the data we copied and our access tokens straight away. Account and billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Where data is stored
On Cloudflare (Workers and the D1 database), for both this website and the app. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never see or store the password for your field-service software: access is by a token, kept on our servers only, that ends when you disconnect.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare: hosting for this website and the app.
- Stripe: payments, once the app opens.
- An email-sending service: sends the Monday email and list emails. We'll name it here before we send the first email.
- Google: website analytics.
Your choices and rights
Disconnect the app at any time from Settings in Kept Weekly or from your field-service software's app settings. Unsubscribe from the list from any email we send. Email hello@keptweekly.com to ask for a copy of your data or its deletion. EU/UK and California residents have the rights their laws give them; we honor them for everyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new date at the top. App customers are emailed before a material change takes effect.
